This is my second year as a RAIDER! I LOVE teaching Kindergarten in Frontenac.
I have been an educator in the Kansas City area since 1999. My teaching career began at Fairview Elementary School in Olathe, KS. In the summer of 2001, I traveled to Beijing, China to provide a summer camp for English Educators.This exciting camp allowed me to explore teaching in the United States in the corporate setting from 2001-2007. Although I love to travel, I have found being a part of this community and teaching at FLE has been much more rewarding.
My husband, Denny Gillard, is the Director of Physical Therapy at Girard Medical Center.My Husband and I have one furry family member at this time. Her name is Bailey, a three pound Yorkshire Terrier.
I have become a Gorilla Fan! My husband graduated from Pittsburg State University and is a football fanatic. This summer I began PSU's Master Program to become a Reading Specialist. Along with starting my Master's Degree, Denny and I took a short vacation to Oahu and Maui. It was breathtaking. We were able to visit Pearl Harbor, Snorkel and relax!
During the summer you may catch us at a lake. We live for boating season! He is a skiier and since we married he has taught me how to wakeboard. We constantly entertain our family on the water.
